As our innovative business continues to rapidly grow, we are seeking a full-time **I **nside Sales/Customer Service Representative **at our **Richmond **location. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing the best customer service to our customers at the Richmond location. If you are self-driven, flexible, and have a strong passion for joining a successful customer service-oriented team, we would love to hear from you **Position**:Full-Time, Permanent **Salary**:$42.000/year **Schedule**:5 days Sunday-Friday, between 5am and 7pm **(mostly 10:30am-7pm)** **Duties & Responsibilities**: - Promotion and sales of connected, push or new product - Initiate sales by calling existing clients - Check inventory for product availability, delivery schedule, and price verification - Troubleshoot customer service issues and coordinate between internal departments such as Accounting, Assembly, Outside Sales, Dispatch, Processing or Purchasing for a positive outcome - Print pickup slips and invoices - Run, assemble and sort orders and reports for various internal and external customers/departments - Arrange for pickup of orders with correct corresponding paperwork. - Advising shortages to Sales Representatives and impute orders for appropriate substitutions - Invoice orders - Assist arrivals at Reception and the Pickup counter, process order payments and paperwork - Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times - Daily entry and posting of orders and credits - Product transfers and adjustments - Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices - Other duties as required **Requirements**: - Great memory - High school diploma - Ability to stay calm under pressure - Great ability to memorize a lot of information quickly - Excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills - Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English language - Great at learning and remembering information - Must be flexible to cover a variety of shifts, including 5:00 am started (latest shift ends at 7:00 pm) **What We Offer** - Flexible benefits program including dental, vision, prescription drugs, disability, and extended health coverage - Company matched retirement program - Profit Sharing - In-house certification, training, and career advancement opportunities - Special employee discounts on all meat and seafood products - Employee appreciation events and social club activities all year round - Positive employee culture and rewards for performance At Intercity Packers Meat & Seafood, we believe in good food and good people.
