The System Admin will be Involved in the implementation of the Darwynn project and maintaining the integrity, performance, and efficiency of WCS/WMS/OCP systems. Helping ensure optimal operations and standardized configurations of our servers and operation computers. Participate in end user training and new employee training, assist other team members with Darwynn project work.
Maintaining fulfillment system devices. Adjust the configuration as your business needs change. Implement data backup and recovery strategies. Monitor system health and identify anomalous behaviour. Collect feedback, improvements, or new requirements, analyze and resolve everyday common problems. Automating security and performance audits of Web servers and Web services. Report Improvement and Customization maintaining workflow.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with writing scripts to automate operations.
- Good knowledge of networking: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, IDS, VPN, DNS, etc.
- Understanding of Internet web protocols (Https/Http/TCP/IP/POP/IMAP/SMTP).
- Understanding of SSL digital certificate.
- Experience managing and optimizing database systems such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB
- Experience with Cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS is an asset.
- Experience handling both the hardware and software of servers.
- Onsite testing with the team to finish the project plan.
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patching and software updates.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, network administration, or related field
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud computing platforms
- Proficient in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or RHCE are a plus.
