**SUMMARY**: The Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor is responsible to oversee and ensuring the products are properly received, stored, and assist in posting during inventory counts. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Another key responsibility is to manage the daily operations of the Inventory warehousing locations, ensuring that all activities are carried out in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. Directing the daily activities of the Cycle Counter, managing, investigating, and reconciling variances.

This role works closely with the Materials Manager, Receiving and QA to validate consumption, receipts and BOM accuracy, maintains records of all raw materials and packaging inventory and produces inventory reports as required.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Plans and schedules DC personnel to ensure proper staffing to receive, order fill or ship products in a productive, safe, and cost-efficient manner.
- Responsible to maintain appropriate and accurate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the daily activities of the Cycle Counter.
- Perform full cycle investigation of count variances: validate, investigate, reconcile, track, and prepares detailed analysis report to management.
- Verify shipping documents for all raw/packaging materials that needs to be shipped out from the warehouse.
- Promotes a positive, inclusive work environment through effectively communicating and interpreting company policies for associates, coaching and counseling, responding to general inquiries, analyzing, and resolving work problems in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- College/university diploma or equivalent work experience - ideally in the field of Inventory Control in a DC setting
- 3-5 years experience in a Team lead/Supervisory role. Working in a materials/Inventory/supply chain planning capacity within the consumer goods industry.
- Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
- Excellent analytical, inventory auditing and reconciliation skills
- Prior experience with Database ERP systems - direct experience with Microsoft Navision would be
- an asset.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel in particular.
- 2+ years supervisory experience required. Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
- Ability to analyze and define problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage specific projects in a detail-oriented
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements, within an industrial establishment.
