**Addictions Medicine and Mental Health**
A concise description of the essential purpose of the position, usually one to two sentences summarizing the primary

direction/guidance).
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will report to the Director of Nursing Practice with a matrix report to the Director
Women and Children's Program & Adult & Forensic Mental Health Programs. The CNS is responsible and
accountable for their own nursing practice and primarily responsible for nursing education and professional standard
of practice within addictions medicine & mental health. TBRHSC is an academic health sciences centre that provides
care within a Patient and Family Centred model.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or the ability to
become licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Masters of Science in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and must register to an approved accredited
masters program within one year of hire.
- Minimum five years of recent mental health and/or addictions nursing experience.
- Advanced leadership skills.
- Membership in RNAO and related professional associations is preferred.

Salary Range: $46.637 to 54.867
