**Status: Full Time TEMPORARY**
**Department: Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic (RAAM)**
**Site: Balmoral Centre & NorWest Community Health Centres**
**Shifts: Days, Evenings and including weekends**
**Rate of Pay: $37.47 - $47.74 per hour**

This position is part of the counselling team with the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic - Thunder Bay location. Services are provided on-site at NorWest Community Health Centres and Balmoral Centre, and includes both direct and virtual counselling to clients.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Social Work or Psychology.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of substance abuse.
- Clinical experience in area of specialization for at least three years.
- Specialized training and\or certification as appropriate to the identified specialization.
- Knowledge of the range of theories applicable to addictions and mental health treatments
- Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and community needs
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**:
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
