Content Copywriter Career Opportunity

Ashley HomeStore Canada a division of TDG (The Dufresne Group) is currently seeking a Content Copywriter for our Ashley Marketing Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Content Copywriter you will be responsible for producing creative that speaks to our audience, increases traffic, and generates results. You will produce content that touches all aspects of the customer journey from brand awareness to product selection to retention and advocacy. As a talented storyteller with a retail background, you will create compelling copy with great attention to deadlines and omni-channel integration.

**As a Content Copywriter, you will**:
Produce marketing copy. Writes, edits, and proofreads compelling and informative content for brand awareness, promotions and products.

Represent the Ashley brand through appropriate use of voice, tone and messaging as defined within the brand guidelines.

Work with other members of the Marketing team to ensure copy and creative continuity across all aspects of a campaign.

Collaborate with Purchasing/Merchandising to review product information.

Work collaboratively with multiple internal departments to identify areas of opportunity to enhance content and messaging (especially when it comes to SEO integration).

Research industry-related topics and interview key stakeholders to craft relevant content.

Coordinate with visual content creators (Graphic Designers) to produce assets.

College/university degree in communications, marketing, media, or journalism

Experience creating omni-channel consumer content

Excellent writing skills and a passion for branding/advertising/marketing

Experience in data management, including organizing and coordinating media content

Strong relationship-management skills

Superior attention to detail

Self-motivated and highly efficient

Exceptional planning, organization and time management skills

Experience with digital publishing

Knowledgeable of SEO and how it applies to content marketing

Google analytics literate
