**Job Summary**:
The Customer Service - Parts role provides after-sales support to customers for replacement parts and testing materials for metal detectors and conveyors. This position is also responsible for coordinating fulfilling customer orders and managing parts shipments to Fortress subsidiaries

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotations and process parts orders
- Problem solve and communicate solutions to customers
- Maintain the spare parts, production, and test materials inventory
- Create customer parts/price lists (with input from Sales)
- Create Bill of Materials for new parts Kits
- Track shipments
- Maintain certifications for test samples
- Issue purchase orders for parts not in stock (spare parts only)
- Create job orders for make parts as required
- Must be able to understand mechanical and electrical spare parts list for industrial equipment, determine characteristics and specifications and in some cases locate equivalents from a different vendor in standard parts such as bearings, air cylinders, electric motors, belts and sprockets.
- Assist with kitting and packing orders, when necessary
- Other duties as assigned

**Academic/Educational Requirements**:

- Completion of High School
- Any certificates or seminars related to customer service (preferred)'

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
- Read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work effectively with customers, vendors and other internal departments (I.E Sales, Production, Purchasing etc)
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of purchasing and production software systems
- Able to plan and organize various job tasks
- Must be able to work in diverse teams and work on multiple projects at one time

**Working Conditions**:
On-site required, currently a temporary hybrid role due to COVID-19.
