Aeromag is looking for an Operations Manager based in our Calgary Airport station. In this key role, you will be responsible for all operational functions of the de-icing center. This position ensures that the employees always follow all standards and respect safety policies and procedures during operations.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the management of operations related to de-icing, YYC contracts, and maintenance.
- Ensure that the standards and procedures related to operations, security, environment and maintenance of installations and equipment are adhered to.
- Day-to-day planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Ensure all daily inspections, glycol tests, and other checks are completed and tracked.
- Monitor and follow up on the ordering, storage, and disposal of de-icing fluids.
- Monitor the weather and ensure sufficient staffing is available for any event.
- Produce various operational and environmental reports.
- Responsible for the management of all staff at the station
- Ensure enforcement of the corporate policies (code of conduct, attendance policy, uniform policy, etc.).
- Hiring staff assigned to the de-icing operations (including interviewing, hiring, and training employees).
- Recognizing performance and addressing development needs.
- Following up on training and qualifications of all staff in collaboration with the Head Trainer
- Collaborate in training-theoretical and practical (initial and recurrent), as required.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow up on safety policies and standards
- Manage accidents and incidents, including on-site investigation, follow-up, and completing safety reports.
- Manages resources according to the budgeted hours and operational requirements
- Responsible for billing forms and updates the ADHOC operations files.
- Write memos and service notes related to the operations.
- Responsible to be part of weekly or monthly meetings with: General Manager, Operation Supervisors, Airline Management Personnel, H&S committee, etc.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.

**Required Skills and Certifications**
- Knowledge of the de-icing operations is considered an asset
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, RAIC, and AVOP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Ability to work with a minimum supervision, follows procedures and executes instructions, while holding health and safety in the highest regard.
- Prior leadership experience, including managing teams, driving initiatives, and achieving organizational goals.
- This is a full-time position with both an AM and PM shift rotation.
