Operations Manager

Oversee the efficient functioning of the property management operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for various critical functions, including process management, policy implementation, staff leadership, and support for our property management teams.
**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and supervise property management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Conduct weekly L10 (Level 10) meetings with Senior Property Managers (SRPMs) to align priorities and address challenges.
Process Management:
Create, document, and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
Develop training programs to ensure consistency and efficiency in processes.
Continuously monitor and optimize processes for maximum productivity.
Policy Management and Compliance:
Oversee the implementation of company policies and ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in compliance and regulations, making necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Establish and maintain scorecards to set, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for property management teams.
Provide regular reporting to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Obstacle Removal and Initiative Implementation:
Identify and address obstacles that hinder operational efficiency, working proactively to remove roadblocks.
Implement new initiatives and strategies to improve property management operations.
Staffing and Talent Development:
Effectively manage staffing, including hiring and training plans, to ensure the property management teams are adequately resourced.
Support team members in their professional development and growth.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure properties adhere to local, provincial, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and building codes.
Address compliance concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Results:
Streamlined and efficient property operations.
High tenant satisfaction and retention rates.
Compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
Effective management of operational budgets.
Well-maintained and profitable properties.
**Requirements**:
10+ years of experience in operations or similar roles
Minimum education qualification - Bachelors in any related field
Strategic thinking & leadership abilities.
Proven experience in property management, with a track record of operational leadership and team management.
Proficiency in property management software, CRM tools, etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Strategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Knowledge of local and federal regulations related to property management and fair housing.
Commitment to compliance and ensuring adherence to company policies.
A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving KPIs and targets.
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
