**A2526-02 Assistant Principals - Bonnyville Region**

**Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking**two** (2) full-time Assistant Principals (1.0 FTE) for the Bonnyville Region commencing with the start of the 2025-2026 school year.** The division is seeking a dedicated and caring leader who will support the Principal to create a welcoming learning environment where all students learn and excel.
- Ensure effective educational programming and school activities for students
- Develop and nurture a positive, supportive and inclusive school culture
- Assist the Principal to provide effective instructional leadership to school staff
- Work collaboratively with division office staff, the school admin team and staff, students and the School Council to achieve the goals of the school and the division
- Assist the Principal effectively manage school operations and resources
- Nurture strong relationships with students, staff, parents and the school community
- Teach courses that may be assigned by the Principal
- Possess a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Proven excellence as a classroom teacher and commitment to student success
- Possess or be eligible to achieve the Alberta Leadership Quality Standards Certificate
- Previous school administration experience is an asset
- The ability to work effectively with diverse student and parent groups
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional improvement
- A strong background in leadership skills and effective instructional practices
