**S2**526-06 Clinical Psychologist**

**Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Clinical Psychologist.** The**Clinical Psychologist will serve as part of the Student Support Services Team. The successful applicant will provide a wide range of effective diagnostic, treatment, educational and consultation psychological services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with the Division team, students, families, administration, educational staff, and external agencies. They will provide psychological expertise and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support social emotional well-being and learning strategies for students and their families as well as individual and broad based support for teachers and school teams.

**Duties of the Clinical Psychologist will include**:

- Work within a designated region and/or across regions to provide support
- Work in collaboration with the Divisional team and under the direction of a Principal
- Work independently with students
- Work with a particular student or a group of students within the class or in a specialized program
- Provide programming assistance to students with social and/or behavioral needs
- Travel to and work with multiple schools and school settings within a specified area

**Preference will be given to applicants who have**:

- Masters Degree in Psychology, clinical focus
- Eligible for membership with the appropriate professional body in Alberta
- Between 1-3 years experience in child, youth and family counseling an asset
- Experience in clinical assessment and therapy an asset
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid drivers license
