We are currently looking for a proactive and experienced **Shipping Manager** to lead our shipping and logistics team in meeting daily production and customer delivery targets.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily shipping schedules, assignments, and processes to ensure customer delivery expectations are consistently met.
- Lead and supervise the logistics team across all shifts to maintain workflow efficiency and ensure shipping targets are achieved.
- Ensure adherence to production and quality standards in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, ISO 9001-2015, Lean Manufacturing principles, and company policies.
- Prepare timely production and shipping reports for senior management.
- Manage and meet departmental goals related to inventory accuracy, reduction, and control.
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ensure timely repairs and follow-ups.
- Monitor inventory and maintain adequate supplies of shipping materials and labels.
- Optimize warehouse storage and shipment logistics for maximum space and cost efficiency.
- Uphold and enforce all Business Operating Procedures and shipping protocols.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing more effective processes and systems.
- Enforce all workplace safety protocols, ensuring the use of PPE and proper housekeeping. Act on and report any safety hazards or incidents.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Ensure proper onboarding and cross-training of staff on all relevant equipment and standard operating procedures.
- Lead or participate in accident/incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and corrective action is taken.
- Monitor compliance with WSIB reporting requirements and support safety initiatives with the goal of achieving zero incidents.
- Foster adherence to Lean Manufacturing and 5S workplace organization standards.

**What You Bring**:

- Proven experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse leadership role.
- Strong understanding of shipping/receiving practices, inventory control, and ERP/WMS systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 and Lean/5S practices is preferred.
- Forklift certification and knowledge of workplace safety regulations are considered assets.

Pay: $24.00-$31.00 per hour

Additional pay:
