The Junior Project Coordinator works closely with the Jr. Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of multifamily construction projects, from preconstruction estimates to on-site coordination. **What You Will Do**:

- Liaise with the Project Manager and all other technical disciplines involved
- Assist Project Manager with the overall management of multifamily construction projects

Preconstruction
- Estimate cost and assess quantity take off
- Prepare bid documents and clear and concise scopes of work
- Prequalify vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain project cost database.

Procurement
- Develop project bid list and subcontractor notice to proceed
- Analyze contract documents and proposed subcontractor selections
- Conduct review and cost analysis of material purchase.

Construction Coordination
- Update project estimate based on review of 30/60/90 percent drawings
- Draft subcontracts
- Manage change, quantify orders, and subcontractor invoices
- Maintain budgets and cost forecasts
- Participate in post project review with key project personnel.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Minimum practicum construction-related experience, a portion of which was directly involved in project coordination.
- Diploma, or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination or related field is an asset
- Previous experience overseeing multifamily projects is an asset
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications
- eg Excel, Outlook.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings.

**Salary Range**:
$60,000-65,000
