**Construction Project Coordinator**

Maple Leaf Homes Ltd is a developer-builder with commercial and residential projects mainly in Surrey and Delta area. We are looking for Construction Project Coordinators for multi-family residential, and commercial projects ranging from townhouses to high-rises, and commercial warehouses. We have various projects throughout Surrey, Delta, and Langley. As a growing company there is room to grow to higher positions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent with overall project performance with respect to key aspects.
- Develops and maintains excellent relationship with project team.
- Manages change order process, including pricing, negotiating, processing and assessing cost and schedule impact prior to reviewing with the Project Manager.
- Administers RFI and shop drawing process.
- Develops performance status reports for the Project Manager regarding cost forecast, schedule and safety.
- Assists the Project Manager with issuing tender packages and subcontracts and monitors their progress.
- Assists the Project Manager and superintendent with establishing project safety & environment programs and providing proactive leadership.
- Maintains contractual responsibilities with subcontractors.
- Involved in all facets of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work.
- Coordinate with marketing and maintenance teams to complete tasks efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline.
- BCIT Construction Program Management Diploma preferred
- 1-3 years of progressive construction experience.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organized, multitasker with the ability to set and manage priorities
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to handle pressure situations in a professional manner
- Knowledge of applicable laws and building codes.
- Basic understanding of construction sequences.
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced environment.
- Intermediate skills with Word and Excel.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with sub trades and clients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $60,000.00-$81,366.00 per year
