**About this Position**
Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Operations, the Territory Sales Representative is responsible for building new customer accounts for our company. Working within a defined territory and from a home office, the Territory Sales Representative will promote and sell our products and services to new customers, to successfully achieve predefined sales goals and objectives.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Collaborates with and reports to the Manager of Sales and Operations to develop and execute a sales plan that will consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- The territory will cover Huntsville and Gravenhurst, ON area and surroundings.
- Prospects, researches and identifies new business opportunities to meet customer needs.
- Builds strong business relationships with prospective customers and manages the sales funnel/cycle by continually following up on their current business needs and anticipating future business needs.
- Prepares and confidently presents sales proposals, including pricing and product/service terms, to key decision makers. Influences, negotiates and closes the sale with the best interest of the company and the customer in mind.
- Communicates regularly and prepares reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements. Intimately knows customer base and area activity and utilizes information and data to capitalize on sales opportunities and recommend sales strategies.
- Cultivates the account from prospecting through to ongoing account management.
- Promotes and represents our company positively and professionally within the community and industry to all customers, competitors and industry associates.
**Qualifications**:
- Five (5) to 10 years sales experience, with proven sales growth record
- Strong focus on new business development
- Exceptional customer service skills and relationship management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Business acumen, financial and analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Superior organization and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Computer skills (Windows, MS Office, Excel)
- Knowledge of the propane industry and/or oil & gas industry an asset
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be willing to travel and use personal vehicle.
**Experience**:
- Propane, construction, industrial sales: 3 years would be an asset
This is a Full-time **(base salary + commission)** position and extended health benefits
**Experience**:
