Sales Manager

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated sales manager that is passionate about the hop industry and craft beer. Charles Faram is a grower-owned hop merchant, originally based in Worcester, UK and has since expanded globally to locations in Ontario, Yakima, and Poland. Hop merchants for over 150 years, Charles Faram has one of the largest global hop portfolios and continues to push the boundaries of UK hops through our own breeding program. Our goal is to help brewers create great beer and we are excited to offer this opportunity to join our team in fulfilling this goal.
Reports to: General Manager (Canada)
Work Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible) Monday-Friday
Location: Hybrid/remote preferred. Fully remote is also an option for the right candidate. Travel will be required.
Primary Duties:
· Establish and cultivate longstanding business relationships with customers.
· Attend industry trade shows and other travel as needed.
· Grow and drive sales generation in a given region.
· Service existing customers and engage new prospects and leads.
· Work closely with Sales Team to establish sales targets and initiatives.
· Generate sales and inventory reports and contracts using SAP.
· Generate sales orders and assist with other inside sales tasks when required.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and changes.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Experience in the hop industry and with brewing customers preferred.
· Proven experience in sales via varying approaches (customer-facing, email, phone).
· Experience with ERP and CRM systems
· Team player, innovative, and creative mindset
· Must be self-driven and work efficiently independently
· Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
