Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager is the primary point of contact responsible for planning, executing, and delivering mechanical projects on time, within budget, and according to project specifications. This includes defining requirements and scope, acquiring resources, and leading project teams. Effective communication, cost control, quality assurance, and reporting to senior management are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee mechanical projects of varying size and complexity
- Interpret customer design proposals and specifications to develop cost-effective solutions
- Ensure high-quality service and deliverables in all project phases
- Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure technical accuracy and timely execution
- Allocate resources, manage documentation, and monitor lifecycle milestones
- Serve as primary liaison with clients, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded
- Prepare and review specifications, concept reports, and project documentation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and client relationships
- Mentor technical staff and assign duties appropriately
- Conduct site visits and ensure construction quality aligns with design intent
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower utilization metrics
- Provide quality and cost control throughout the design and construction process
- Identify the need for additional services, scope changes, or fee adjustments
- Review shop drawings and support estimation and coordination staff as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline (e.g., Building Systems)
- P.Eng. designation or eligibility for licensing in Ontario
- 7+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting or consulting engineering field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Mechanical coordination and construction experience is considered an asset
- Proven ability to deliver projects using standard project management practices
- PMP certification is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
