**Your Mission**:
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in efficiently overseeing DBO projects and assigned initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget. Your role involves managing project timelines, enforcing contractual compliance, and supporting new business procurement and facility acquisition efforts.
**Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like**:
- Review project plans and schedules for DBO projects, highlighting key tasks and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of DBO projects, including civil, electrical, and process-related works.
- Monitor project progress closely, proactively identifying and addressing any budget, planning, or quality issues that may arise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and conducting monthly meetings to review project status and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, calculations, permits, and manuals, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
- Update cash flow projections, review project-related invoices, and prepare progress reports for management, highlighting financial updates, schedule deviations, and risk assessments.
**This role is a great fit for you if you**:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred); a construction-related degree is an asset.
- Have proven experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects (**required**).
- Bring 5-7 years of experience in project management, financial oversight, and contract management (**required**).
- Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with process installations.
- Possess a strong understanding of Canadian construction contracts (CCDC) and general construction law and legislation.
- Have experience establishing and maintaining project administration systems (costing, scheduling, quality control, safety, and loss prevention).
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Have experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) contracts (**asset**).
