**Tiny Bumblebees Child Care**

**Responsibilities**:

- The Supervisor assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Tiny Bumblebees Child Care.
- Be knowledgeable, informed, and current on child care philosophy, Ministry of Education and Toronto Public Health requirements, the Reggio Emilia Approach, and Child Development.
- Plan and implement a program that reflects the philosophy of Tiny Bumblebees Child Care.
- Assists with the monitoring of the centre’s budget, payroll and keeping track of the centre's inventory.
- Keep track of Ministry of Education’s and Toronto Public Health’s regulations and policies and ensure appropriate implementation of such.
- **Knowledge of the CCEYA** implement and plan so that the centre is in accordance with such document.
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
- Provide support and care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children, staff and families.
- Prepare montly calendars with rich activities that embed a strong sense of community in the children. (e.i, community outings, graducation day, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding special events, their child's progress and any concerns.
- Conduct tours, follow up on leads in a timely manner and keep track of the waitlist.
- Conduct monthly fire drills that are in accordance with the Toronto Fire Department and the Ministry of Education.
- Foster social skills through group activities and playtime.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care at all times.
- Mentor in a positive way students and staff.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in working in a child care centre.

2. Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Registered with the College of ECEs

3. Current Criminal Record Check

4. Strong leadership skills

5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

6. Excellent organizational skills and initiative

7. Creative problem solving skills

8. Flexible

9. Approachable and friendly

10. Manages google drive, excel, and microsoft tools effectively.

**What we offer**:
**Salary: $28 (including CWELCC workforce compensation)**

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
