Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn location is currently hiring full time Assistant Supervisor/Toddler early childhood educators to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties_**:The Assistant supervisor/Toddler ECE Educator will spend 40 % of the time assisting the supervisor with programing, teacher training, administration, enrollments, interaction with parents; 60% of the time working in one of our toddler classrooms.

**Administration Role**:
Programming - Every Wednesday the staff will be responsible for providing the director with the appropriate programming for the following week. The director will look over the content of this programming to ensure it is appropriate and suitable for viewing by parents. Programming will be placed on the programming board every Friday evening for the week to come for each class

Clients - Directors are responsible for taking care of clients, you are often the first face of the centre, you will greet all potential and existing clients with respect and courteousness. Be engaged and helpful when speaking with clients

**Administration**:
Log Books: The director is responsible for keeping the Director log up to date, all items in the log must be completed within the proper time frames. The director is responsible for ensuring that the staff are keeping their classroom and kitchen logs up to date as well. It is the responsibility of the director to sign off on the daily pages of the logs to ensure they are being completed properly.

Fire Drills: The director is responsible for conducting one fire drill per month and recording the fire drill within the directors’ log. You will responsible for retaining these documents and showing them to ministry personnel when required.

Staff Files: It is always the director’s responsibility to keep all staff files up to date and complete. The director must look ahead and know when staff are required to update certificates, declarations and VSC. No staff should be starting with a VSC that is more then 6 months old. No RECE staff may be counted into RECE ration unless they have their registration number or are otherwise approved by the ministry until the registration number is available.

Staff files must be kept tidy and legible, files are to be presented in a duo tang using clear plastic sheet covers with indicator tabs for each section. The director must ensure that all documents required are present as per the staffing checklist.

Children files must always be up to date and complete. The director must go through the registration package with the parents and ensure that all required information, documentation and signatures are completed before the child starts in the program, according to the new member checklist.

**Sandbox: You are required to take an active part in learning how to use sandbox, at minimum you will need to be able to**:

- Add families and siblings
- Up date family profiles
- Invoice families
- Payments of invoices
- Produce company wide revenue details
- Forecast revenues for 3 to 6 months ahead

Other sandbox items such as attendance, enrolment, allergy forms, and staffing may be required by your owner.

Cleaning: You are required to ensure the centre is always cleaned and maintained in good standing. You are responsible for delegating cleaning duties among staff and ensuring that any outside companies required to help with cleaning are arranged, ad per approval of your owner.

You are to help the staff with regular cleaning duties including but not limited to keeping your office clean and free of clutter.

**Ministry**:
You are responsible for keeping the CCLS up to date at all times. You are responsible for Maintaining records and files in accordance with the CCEYA.

On ministry visits you are always required to speak to the ministry with confidence and respect. If there are non-compliances, you are required to complete these within the time frames allotted and report back to the ministry in CCLS that this has been completed. You are required to inform your owner and head office of all ministry visits as they occur.

**Staffing**:
The director will Hire, Mange and Terminate staff as required. You are responsible for maintaining proper CCEYA ratios with staff and children. You are required to have letter of offers signed and dated by all staff before they start employment.

The director will ensure that staff are always adhering to the policy and procedures of Tiny Hoppers and the Ministry.

You are responsible for managing shifts that relate to proper ratios within the centre and revising shifts as required on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
