Bumble Bee Garden Child Care is hiring a caring, friendly and dedicated **Assistant Supervisor and Registered Early Childhood Educator** to join our growing team

**Job description**

The **Assistant Supervisor and Early Childhood Educator** position is a full-time position responsible for assisting with the effective daily operations of the child care program, including assisting with program planning, and ensuring that children and families are consistently treated with nurturing warmth and care. This position requires caring for children as the lead RECE. **A Great Opportunity** to be a leader in a growing child care setting.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting the Supervisor & Directors
- Assisting with Health and Safety checks
- Communication using daily reports & daily interactions
- Assisting with Program and Curriculum Development
- Engaging with and caring for children

**Qualifications**

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Valid First Aid and CPR-C certification
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Up-to-date medical clearance including immunizations
- Proficient with MS Office and able to use Apps as needed

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years working with children in a licensed childcare setting with children 18 months to 4 years.

The Centres’ hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
