**PDI Bulk is looking for a DISPATCHER/CUSTOMS** **CLERK** in **Guelph, ON**

**What you’ll do as the DISPATCHER/CUSTOMS CLERK**:

- Day to day activities related and assigned to a dispatch role
- Computerized dispatch within TMW system
- Fleet Monitoring & workflow using Isaac software
- Ensure trucks are properly loaded and assigned proper destinations at several locations
- Monitor wash schedules, schedule arrival and departure times
- Respond & provide solutions to both Customs & driver questions & concerns
- Ensure Clear communication with CSR’s
- Ensure DOT & MOT requirements are met & complied with daily
- Schedule equipment for regular service as well emergency repairs
- Various functions related to a dispatch role
- Assist with driver skills i.e.: Self-Loading, Customs, Hazmat, Hours of Service, Company Policy and Procedures, Regulations, etc.
- Assist with driver inquiries - payroll, miles, etc.
- Update websites
- Communicate & problem solve with railways when required

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Bulk dispatch experience definite asset
- Good computer skills and software experience including TMW
- Great communication skills both verbally and written
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective at problem solving and multi-tasking
- Works well independently and with little supervision
- High attention to detail
- Previous dispatch work experience within a warehousing, logistics or transportation industry, an asset
- Knowledge of CN and CP intermodal operations, an asset
- Superior communication skill
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adhere to strict deadlines

**Hours**:

- Afternoon Shift (11:00am to 7:30pm approx.)
- Monday - Friday (40 - 45 hours per week)
- Some after hours and weekend calls

**Experience**:

- bulk dispatch: 1 year (preferred)
- warehousing/logistics/transportation industry: 1 year (preferred)
- CN & CP intermodal operations: 1 year (preferred)
