Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Dispatcher based in Guelph, ON. The Dispatcher will manage day-to-day logistics operations, including coordinating transportation schedules, communicating with drivers, tracking shipments, and resolving any delivery issues. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and delivering outstanding customer service through timely communication with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and schedule management
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and other relevant tools
  • Prior experience in the trucking or freight industry is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure with problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics is an asset
