**Position Overview**:
The IT Support Representative plays a vital role in our technical support hierarchy, focusing on resolving basic and advanced technical issues. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of various technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and resolve basic and advanced technical issues, including network configurations, software and hardware troubleshooting, and system repairs.
- Analyze support tickets using advanced diagnostic techniques to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to develop robust solutions for complex technical problems.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the IT knowledge base for future reference.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate solutions to technical issues.
- Monitor ongoing issues to identify any patterns that might indicate underlying system problems.

**Technical Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong emphasis on Tier 2 technical troubleshooting.
- Expertise in operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux), networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, DHCP, DNS), hardware components, Active Directory, and Exchange environments.
- Proficiency with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of security principles and technologies (firewalls, antivirus, EDR tools).
- Experience with scripting for automation and configuration (PowerShell, Bash) is beneficial.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or similar are highly desirable.
