Vancouver, Canada Riviera Hotel on Robson Full time

Handling Riviera hotels for the following:

- Manages the recruitments for the hiring positions as well as of taking care of the status change and terminations
- Facilitates orientation, on-boarding and compliance training for new hires
- Provides support for delivering various HR projects and initiatives, being pro-active on documenting, communicating and implementing processes to support the Human Resource needs of the organization
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records
- Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner.
- Work in partnership with the rest of the Hospitality Leadership team to develop strategies to grow the business.
- Embrace change and deliver top results no matter the obstacle.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
