**The Role**:
**What you Bring to the Team**:
- **Bachelor’s degree/College diploma in chemistry, geology, business or similar or 3+ years industry related experience**:
- **Minimum of 3 years of business development experience required or related sales/client services**:
- **Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and French required**:
- Experience with the mining/minerals industry preferred
- Eager, competitive, and willing to learn and be taught new skills
- Proven experience in attracting clients through phone calls, in-person meetings, networking, attending events, etc.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task
- Problem solver
- Ability to create work plans for both large
- and small-scale projects
- Possess strong computer skills
- Quality driven and pro-active
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer focused
- Ability to work as a team member and work well unsupervised
- Willingness to work overtime if required to complete projects
**Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Sell services to the mineral exploration industry and grow the division
- Visit and maintain contact with current and past customers in the mineral exploration industry to generate new sales
- Determine highest return on event trade shows and attend industry relevant networking events
- Manage customer expectations regarding service delivery work collaboratively with management and the lab to ensure the customers expectations are being met
- Provide quotations for customers/enter into salesforce
- Available to travel
- Prepare sales contracts for clients
- Assist with customer interpretation request of a geological nature to the sample receiving personnel or consult internal team on customers specific requests
- Help validate customer requests with order set up
- Collaborate with marketing team
- Create monthly reports on progress achieved that include summaries/stats of clients or lead interactions/visits, trade shows, quotes generated, quotes accepted, customer commendations or complaints, upcoming/expected projects for the next month, etc. to
- Ensure that services are being delivered in requisite time and with required quality for minerals’ customers
- Market Intelligence - identify target markets, target services, source of customers to identify preferred marketing channels
- Prepare power point presentations and present these at technical conferences and to individual customers
