**The Opportunity**

This position is a permanent, full-time. After the training period, there is an opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.

- **Essential Functions**_
- First point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees
- Assist in full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding / orientation activities
- Create/maintain documents, files, and databases (e.g. employment offers/agreements, job descriptions, organization charts, HR forms)
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Participate in employee relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Assist in organizing and implementing training and development programs
- Coordinate employee benefits, including group insurance and RRSP contributions
- Provide support/back-up for payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or designate
- **Who You Are**_
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
