Savanna Drilling Canada is searching for an **Office Administrator** to join our growing team. As an Office Administrator at Savanna, you will be responsible for providing standard administrative support to our Operations team. This position is full-time permanent and is based out of our Leduc, AB office location.
In business since 2001, Savanna Drilling offers an extensive fleet of modern drilling rigs and experienced personnel. From our extremely efficient and quick moving Hybrid and Top Drive Single (TDS) rigs to our Heavy and Ultra Heavy Doubles capable of drilling over 6000m (18,000ft) right up to our 1500HP Velox Triple rig platform with ratings of up to 750,000-pound hook loads, our fleet is capable of drilling virtually any onshore oil and natural gas well in the world safely and cost effectively. Savanna Drilling has operational bases in Canada, the United States, and Australia.

**General Statement of Duties**:
- Under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain, is responsible for the general administration such as creation and management of work orders, purchases materials, supplies and services of more complex or technical nature with established limits and guidelines for Savanna Drilling Canada.
**Supervision Received**:
- Supervisor(s) as indicated in offer letter, reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain and other executive management as directed, from time to time.

- Not applicable.
**Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)**:
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying and purchasing of supplies such as issuing of PO’s, coding and pricing;
- Responsible for organization and ongoing maintenance of all: maintenance work orders, and equipment work orders;
- Preparation, data entry and completion of purchase orders for the Operations team (Field Superintendents/Maintenance Team);
- Maintain filing system for completed purchase orders, along with corresponding invoice copies & goods receipts;
- Issue PO#’s for new rig orders, enter info, code and phone suppliers;
- Send out quotes for pricing for routine rig supplies as well as rig start up packages;
- Ordering of office furniture, equipment and promotional items.
- Troubleshoot problems, arrange for resolutions if required;
- Assist with processing reports as needed;
- Arrange and participate in regular team meetings;
- Provide assist and coverage for Equipment Coordinator and Purchaser as needed;
- Other projects as assigned.

- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Computer proficient;
- Effective organization and time management skill;
- Detail oriented;
- Decision making skills, ability, to troubleshoot and problem solve;
- Self starter who enjoys responsibility and accountability.
**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 1-2 years relevant experience.
