**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Catering Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the department and collaborate with other departments to ensure uncompromised service to the Club’s members and guests. In this role, you will assist in the development and implementation of Catering sales initiatives aimed at building Catering revenue, attracting new business and motivating and developing your team.

**Operations**:

- Organizing the Perfect Venue booking system; taking leadership of booking any Club events and Club closures.
- Working with Department heads in place of the Director of Catering when they are away or unavailable.
- Liaising with the Finance department to ensure billing and client files are maintained and up to date.
- Supervising wedding and corporate sales administration to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Working closely with the Executive Chef and Banquet Manager to ensure event service standards are maintained.
- Attending operational meetings to discuss events, programs, staffing, scheduling, etc.
- Leading the research and implementation of potential software to enhance the Catering Department.

**Marketing**:

- Creating and posting social media content to promote Terminal City Club weddings.
- Working with the Marketing Department to strategize and develop marketing materials.
- Participating in ad-hoc Catering Department projects, as required.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous leadership experience within the luxury hospitality market preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; multilingual abilities an asset.
- Self-starter with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, responsible, results oriented and energetic.
- Skilled with the use of Microsoft Office; familiar with internal systems (Jonas; Perfect Venue) an asset.
- Strong social media skills (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
