Chef-owned event catering company seeking a chef to oversee menu prep and production for events and our bistro restaurant, as well as managing menu production and plating at catering venues throughout Vancouver.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their culinary skills and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare a wide variety of custom menus for catered events
- Assist with lunch service in our Bistro restaurant
- Research industry trends and new menu ideas to assist chef with catering menu and recipe development
- Oversee daily operations and production when Chef is absent
- Lead culinary teams at catered events with 10 to 250 guests
- Willingness to take on catering opportunities - evenings and weekends

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

- Professional culinary training certificate or designation is an asset, but the ability to lead a team and problem-solve at events is essential
- Kitchen management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment
- Detail focused with high standards
- Valid BC Driver’s License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$67,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
