We provide quality clinical, navigation and professional support in the areas of autism, behavioural, developmental, mental health, and rehabilitative services.

The Manager of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for overseeing and managing HR operations within the Agency. They are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional and operational HR activities, and ensure compliance with all relevant professional standards, legislation, and legal requirements. In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, they contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies in alignment with organizational goals. They are an active contributing member of the Agency’s Leadership Team (ALT) and lead in alignment with the Agency’s Mission, Vision, Values and Leadership Model.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Four (4) year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or other relevant degree with specialization in HR; or Bachelor’s degree with post-graduate diploma in HR
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience of increasing responsibility in the human resources field
- Management experience preferred
- Experience in both public and private sectors an asset
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices in areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, total compensation, training, and development. Knowledge of and experience in health and safety an asset
- Strong working knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, Pay Equity Act
- Experience with LEADS or other leadership framework, change management, performance management, project management, compliance, risk management, continuous quality improvement practices, and data management and analysis
- Excellent critical thinking skills; solution-oriented
- Must have excellent communication skills including excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, and be proficient in making presentations and professional business writing
- History of working productively and collaboratively with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to engage staff at all levels and to lead groups and facilitate group activities in a consultative and collaborative manner
- Advanced software skills using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook); experience using HRIS software preferred
- Strong degree of data literacy to analyze, interpret, and communicate data and information to diverse audiences
- High level of integrity and discretion; demonstrates professionalism in handling confidential information and situations
- Knowledgeable and experienced in anti-oppressive practices related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Highly adaptive, resilient, and responsive to changing circumstances
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
- Demonstrate ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality
