Human Resources Manager

$115,894 to $133,212 annually (2024 rates)

The District of North Saanich is seeking a collaborative and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our Corporate Services Department. This position provides strategic leadership in all HR functions, including labour relations, occupational health and safety, recruitment and retention, employee wellness, performance management, and policy development. The HR Manager provides expert advice to senior leadership, helping to foster an engaged, inclusive, and compliant workplace aligned with the District's Strategic Plan and organizational values.

If you have the following qualifications, we would like to hear from you

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, public administration, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience in a unionized, public-sector environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
