Chance Café is a cozy, locally owned café on Commercial Street and Victoria Drive. We’re passionate about our drinks, food, and building real connections with our community. We’re looking for a full-time, outgoing, and dependable café all-arounder who loves customer service, thrives in a team, and can also work independently.

**Responsibilities**
- Take pride in every product you serve and bring your smile to work each day
- Run day-to-day café operations hands-on
- Prepare drinks and food to order
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and maintain a clean, safe café environment
- Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere for customers and staff
- Train and schedule team members
- Help with social media accounts and support marketing/promotions
- Assist with sales campaigns and community engagement strategies
- Oversee inventory control and stock management
- Other duties as needed to support the café

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year experience as a barista/cashier
- Comfortable using POS systems
- Food Safe Level I certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Team-player who can also work independently
- Attentive to detail and committed to consistency
- Able to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Ideally lives in or near our neighborhood
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) - second language is an asset
