Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of espresso based drinks, smoothies, and bottled beverages. Baking, preparing sandwiches and other hot foods is also required. If you have a passion for coffee and being apart of your community and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting, we would love to hear from you.

Important note: The cafe has no appointed seating so bussing and serving patrons from out of behind the counter is not required, but cleaning and stocking of milk cart located near cafe front is required.

**MUST HAVE VALID FOODSAFE CERTIFICATE**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate Square POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of cafe as well as kitchen area in the back
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a cafe setting is a requirement
- Strong cash handling skills and basic math abilities
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of Square POS is a plus but not required
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is a requirement
