Ditchfield Soils Ltd. offers professional quality soil mixtures for gardens, lawns, and flowerbeds. We also carry a wide variety of other landscape supplies for all your landscaping needs, including a variety of river stone & granite rock, limestone, wood mulch, sand, landscape fabric, and edging
We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ditchfield Supplies LTD. As a retail sales associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right landscape supplies for their projects and ensuring that they have an exceptional shopping experience. Your duties will include:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting customers with their purchases and making product recommendations
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Receiving and stocking inventory
- Providing product knowledge and technical support to customers
- Conducting product demonstrations and educating customers on how to use the products
**Requirements**:
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of landscape supplies, including mulch, topsoil, gravel, and other landscaping products is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Winnipeg, MB R2Y 2L9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
