**Sales Associate**
**Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. If you are passionate about sales, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate product details to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Fluency in English
- Experience in retail is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.30-$20.00 per hour
Work days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Serving It Right (preferred)
