*Job Overview*

Are you looking for a fun and innovative team who loves food and wine?

This role is responsible for day-to-day operations in the wine department, focusing on sales in both store and licensee

*Duties*
- Engage with customers to identify their needs and preferences
- Recommending and selling wines to customers in store
- Demonstrate product features through wine product sampling
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Invoicing and filling licensee and online orders
- Ensuring appropriate and accurate inventory levels that meet sales and marketing needs while maintaining a high standard of store presentation.
- Assist in restocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels
- Organizing inventory for in store and daily deliveries to clients
- Weekly check on their inventory, helping with promotions and events such as wine sampling

*Requirements*
- Smart serve certification
- WSET level one and above is preferred, wine knowledge is required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in retail/and or restaurant environment preferred
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service
- Operating a computer and POS system required
- Some heavy lifting required, extended hours of standing required
- Must be available to work key times based on business requirements

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
