**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Field Network Configuration**:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Layer 2/3 switches, wireless access points, gateways, and firewalls across various field locations.
- Implement and manage VLANs, WAN connections, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and static/dynamic routing protocols.
- Conduct site surveys, cable testing, and troubleshooting of network issues on-site.
- **DevOps Integration**:

- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to support network-related development projects.
- Automate network configuration and deployment processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines that involve network provisioning or testing environments.
- **CLI Expertise**:

- Use Cisco CLI for configuring and maintaining network devices (IOS/IOS-XE/ASA/NX-OS).
- Execute advanced troubleshooting via SSH, Telnet, and console access.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture, change logs, and deployment procedures.
- Provide regular reports on network health, uptime, and performance metrics.
- **Collaboration & Support**:

- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors during project rollouts and escalations.
- Train junior technicians or support personnel on standard operating procedures and best practices.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Network Technician, Field Engineer, or in a DevOps networking capacity.
- Proficient with Cisco network hardware and CLI configuration.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, STP, etc.).
- Experience managing VLANs, WAN links, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Ability to interpret and design network diagrams (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Strong scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) for task automation.

- **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)**:

- **Preferred**:

- **Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)**:

- **Linux+**, **AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty**, or relevant DevOps certs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
