You will be working in a fast paced professional environment along with doctors and opticians. As part of a small, ''family-type'' team of three doctors, 2 receptionist and 2 opticians, the Receptionist/Pretester will be responsible for providing high quality customer service, focused on accompanying and supporting patients and other staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Opening and closing the clinic.
- Greeting and processing patient admissions via EMR.
- Scheduling appointments by phone and in-person.
- Opening and managing patient files (scanning, filing documents, faxing).
- Managing payments.
- Providing support to the team as needed.
- Checking Ohip validations.
- Direct Billing to Insurance.
- Pretesting the Patient before they see the Dr.
- Taking Scans and Images as per Dr. Requests
- Visual Fields, Autorefractor, Measuring eye glasses, Optomap Imaging, OCT and more...

The employee must ensure that the rules of hygiene are followed at all times and must disinfect his/her workstation and the waiting room on a frequent basis.

The position will begin as part-time (Monday 10:30-8pm, Thursday 11am
- 8pm and Friday 9am-3pm) and once the office feels that the employee is learning and adjusting to the position they will transition to full-time hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour
