JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an **experienced (6 months or above)** **full-time medical receptionist** to work **37 plus hours per week**with secure and regular shifts, mostly Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. The _**flexibility**_ to work sometime till 6 pm or work afternoon shift from 12pm to 8pm would be an asset. Starting wage at $18 per hour depending on resume and experience with a 3 month probation period.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greeting and registering patients
- Taking Patients Height and weight.
- Answering phones, answering patient questions
- Triaging a large volume of patients with medical concerns
- Booking appointments
- Collaborating with our nursing team
- Collecting third party payments
- Faxing/scanning/managing documents in the EMR

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent computer skills are essential
- Medical EMR knowledge required (PSS experience is a huge asset)
- MOA certificate an asset
- Good communication skills - on the phone and in person
- Enjoy working with the public and with fellow staff
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to commute to work easily
- Very reliable, committed, and flexible with the schedule

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
