Join our culinary team at Pepperwood Bistro work in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Ontario.

The Executive Chef role for the back of house team and is accountable for the daily kitchen operations. This individual is a role model for employees in the kitchen and is responsible for all culinary operations. As a culinary leader, the chef understands the workings of each station. The Chef leads the line in the preparation of high-quality menu items designed to be consistent, and of the utmost quality. The individual in this position thrives on developing and executing an incredible culinary experience.

**Key Accountabilities**
- All kitchen operations and preparation
- Works with and assists in overseeing all culinary operations including dining service, preparation, staffing and catering functions
- Leads team in creation of menus
- Responsible for health and safety adherence in kitchen operations
- Team morale promotion
- Cleaning and food safety adherence
- Product sourcing and ordering. Inventory and cost control ( operating knowledge of Optimum Control an asset)
- Overall cleanliness of kitchen

**Suggested Qualifications;**
- 2 years experience as a Chef
- Food Handlers Certification
- Health and Safety Certified
- First Aid Training
- Catering Experience

Fulltime Employment Year Round

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
