- Senior Director Talent and Employee Exp. The Change Management Consultant will assist with the planning and implementation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Canadian Payroll system. In this position, you will play an important role focusing on all changes to systems, business processes, technology, organization structures and job roles. You will be responsible to develop the change management plan and strategies that maximize employee engagement by creating an improved employee experience. This role will work closely with HR leaders, stakeholders and leadership to develop integrated change management strategies to improve Medavie’s employee experience.
**Responsibilities**
- In collaboration with business owners and stakeholders, prepare, manage and deliver change management strategy and plans for the project to maximize employee adoption and usage
- Participate on project team and collaborate with functional team members to assist in identifying process changes, learning future state processes and system functionality
- Lead and facilitate change management meetings with business stakeholders related to changing business processes, impact assessments and technologies
- Prepare communication plans and guide front line leaders on how to communicate change messages to teams, how to support uncertainty and apprehension, and ensure messages are integrated with Internal Communications
- Document a well-structured training curriculum including audience analysis, transition materials, and detailed business process/system training modules using various training methods and tools
- Create training materials utilizing common training development tools for business process and system training and deliver training via multiple vehicles, such as in-person, web-ex and video
- Support end users upon go-live, and ensure proper training materials are available
- Monitor and review performance of initiative, and activate sustainment of change plan
- Act as coach to project team members to help them fulfill the role of change agents
- Transfer ownership of activities to Human Resources leaders for continuous embedding and performance monitoring
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years change management experience on medium to large scale organizational change efforts and projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or Business Administration
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, and familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflict by actively listening to others
- A team player who is able to work with and through others by influencing and moving toward a common vision or goal at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytic and decision making skills with the ability to problem solve and identify the root cause of issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results
- Strong time management skills in an environment with multiple competing priorities
- Proactive, resourceful and a quick learner who thrives on fast-paced challenge and change
- Proficient in Microsoft products (PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) - Design skills and proficiency a plus
**Preferred Skills & Experience**
- Change management experience directly related to Workday, or SAP/SuccessFactors
- Prosci Change Practitioner certification
- Bilingualism
- Experience in training strategy, planning, design, creation, and delivery
