Looking for someone with the below experience who can work Tuesday to Saturday with every Monday off from 1:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

First 2 weeks of training would be from 9:00 - 5:00, but after that would be the above working hours

**Responsibilities**:
The collections agent position is accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from our borrowers, which will include a variety of borrower location techniques, collection methods, legal claims and the selective use of outside services.

**Skills and Specifications**:
1. Stratify collection activities to maximize funds

2. Issue warning letters to overdue accounts

3. Use skip tracing techniques to locate borrowers

4. Contact borrowers regarding overdue account and determine reasons for non-payment

5. Issue payment commitment letters

6. Negotiate settlements, bankruptcy and consumer proposals

7. Monitor payments

8. Recommend small claims court files

9. Recommend bad debt write offs

10. Maintain accurate and up to date records on all customer payment status.

Excellent and exceptional communication. Needs to be diplomatic, have negotiation and interpersonal skills to deal with borrowers. Must exhibit strong multitasking abilities. Must have organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

**Experience**:
Minimum 2 year experience as a collection agent in a high volume environment.

Pay: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
