Founded in 1980, **SCP SCIENCE **manufactures automated instruments, analytical equipment, reagents, and certified reference materials for the inorganic analytical chemistry laboratory market. The company has grown substantially in recent years through the development of extensive internal manufacturing capability, acquisition of several companies which have been incorporated into the main company, and expansion of its sales and distribution network around the world.

This position requires 70% of the time to be on the Production floor, and 30% of the time in administration using ERP system and other softwares.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the Master Planning Schedule
- Create Jobs for Production
- Monitor production rates and manufacturing cost per item
- Monitor inventory for raw materials and sub-assemblies
- Create/update the Bill of Materials for new or existing items
- Maintain data in the ERP system (safety stock level, standard time)
- Produce reports from the ERP software (WIP report, Stock report, etc.)
- Organize paperwork, e.g. Purchase Orders, Job Orders
- Purchasing related to Customer Orders and Production requirements
- Review Purchase Orders and Job Orders to maintain proper stock levels
- Monitor raw material pricing
- Follow up on delivery for raw materials from suppliers and/or Production
- Ensure smooth production of production requirements and/or final product
- Other tasks as required

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Proficient in planning software (experience with ERP software is a plus)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management
- Excellent Math skills
- Experience with database and data analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint);
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to manage overlapping projects meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Must be available and legally eligible to work in Canada.
