**PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-INJECTION MOULDING**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and lead a team of machinists
- Delegate daily individual tasks to each team member and follow-up until completed
- Responsible for the on-time completion of parts within specs
- Estimate the time to complete tasks by team members and advise on production scheduling
- Identify obsolete parts and advise the Production Planner and Purchasing to correct the database
- Perform training and set an example to new employees
- Participate in weekly work review meetings with the Instrument Manufacturing Manager
- Report all team and production issues to the Manager (work performance, quality etc.)
- Operate Injection Moulding machines as required
- Complete Job Material Pick List Reports and other production documents as required
- Propose improvements in product reliability, manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Other tasks as required

**Essential Skills and Knowledge**
- 5 years or more of work experience is required
- Demonstrated team leading / team management skills
- Familiar with plastic injection moulding machinery
- Familiar with production process and associated documentation
- Understanding of best practices and product quality objectives
- Ability to find solutions to functional problems
- Manual dexterity is very important
- Fluency with both Imperial and Metric measurements systems
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Very good knowledge of English and French is required
