**Project Manager - Remediation & Rebuild**
As an Assistant Project Manager, your _**duties and responsibilities**_ include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects.
- Effectively communicate with teammates, the office staff, customers, vendors, and insurance adjusters on a daily basis, to ensure a seamless experience for the insured when a claim is filed.
- Schedule, coordinate and oversee teammates and subcontractors.
- Assessing damage and determining an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates.
- Manage existing client relationships and foster and grow new relationships with industry partners.
- Projects must be completed on-time, on budget and to established quality standards from start to finish.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with directing the restoration team during:
- Remediation efforts (eg, water damage, fire & smoke damage, mould)
- Rebuilding
- Project completion
- Open to working after hours and on weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **Knowledge, skills & requirements**_
- You will spend a good deal of time on site to see your projects get completed properly.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in the restoration & construction industry.
- Management or supervisor experience considered beneficial.
- IICRC (S-500 Standard) certifications considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations & BC Building code preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in all restoration procedures and safety standards, as well as managing a team of professionals of different specialties to achieve quality results.
- Outstanding customer service interactions with property owners, businesses, and families ensuring they know what’s happening and what we’re doing to get their lives back to normal.
- Problem solving and priority management skills.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Self starter who demonstrates initiative.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid BC driver’s license & clean drivers abstract.
- Clean Criminal Background check required.
- Multi-tasking & a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds, climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
