**Duties and Responsibilities**

Overall Responsibilities:

- Cleaning and preparing construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
- Loading and unloading construction materials and transporting them to work sites
- Erecting steel building structures, insulated metal panels, standing seam roof
- Following construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Performing additional duties as directed on construction sites.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in commercial construction an asset
- Experience using power tools and machinery

**Core Competencies**
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and equipment.
- General knowledge of construction operations and procedures.
- Committed to providing excellent service and quality while maintaining safety.
- Energetic, positive and reliable attitude.
- Ability to understand and deliver instructions pertaining to projects.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks by importance.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Self-starter and capable of working independently under mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work well with others and in teams.

**Working Conditions**
- Mostly outdoor work, year-round.
- Some indoor work, depending on project
- May involve working in very bright or very dim lighting conditions
- Working at heights
- May require lifting heavy loads
- Overtime hours and occasionally working on Saturdays may be required
- Some travel may be required
