- is looking for passionate and caring Personal Caregivers to join our amazing team and provide 1:1 care. You will be assisting our clients to maintain their quality of life within their own home and live as independently as possible. Being a HCA or PSW is key to helping seniors maintain quality of life wherever they call home. As a PSW/HCA, you help clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, transportation, meal preparation, and light housework. **Job Types**:

**Education and Experience**:
1-year senior caregiving experience required. Completion of formal accredited caregiver training program (PSW/Personal Support Worker, or HCA/Health Care Aide) and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience needed. Dementia care and palliative care experience is an asset. Work Authorization required.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
Assist our clients with personal care and activities of daily living. Help our clients maintain a quality of life in the home they have grown to love. Provide companionship, personal care, activities to promote cognitive exercises, light housekeeping and basic cooking are required.
- Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.
- Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
- Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of care plan
- Participate in evaluating the client's needs and plan for continuing services.
- Providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
- Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shopping for, or preparing nutritious meals.
- Transport clients to locations outside the home, such as to physicians' offices or on outings, using a motor vehicle.
- Train family members to provide bedside care.
**Work Activities included but not limited to**
- Providing personal assistance, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or clients.
- Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in electronic form
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
