Business Development/sales Manager

**Position Overview**
The Commercial Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by identifying, pursuing, and securing new commercial cleaning contracts. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, understanding client needs, and promoting the high standards and services of Stewandy Cleaners, a proud ISSA - and CIMs certified company. With many awards from the Brampton Community.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Sales Strategy and Execution**
- Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close contracts with prospective clients, ensuring alignment with company goals.
**2. Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new commercial clients during the onboarding process.
- Regularly engage with existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services.
**3. Collaboration and Teamwork**
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for new clients.
- Train, and supervise other sales team member, hire new staff and build sales team according to company needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting commercial clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Operations on pipeline activities and sales performance.
**4. Reporting and Analysis**
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract details in in-house customer Data system.
- Analyze sales metrics and trends to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing progress toward sales goals and key achievements.
**5. Industry Awareness**
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and ISSA standards.
- Represent Stewandy Cleaners at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the commercial cleaning or facilities management industry.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and client management abilities.
- Research any suitable / familiar CRM software and sales reporting tools for team
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Monthly and annual revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Number of new commercial accounts acquired.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
- Pipeline management and conversion rates.
**Compensation: Monthly Commission based structured with up to 30% travel allowance and other perks.**
**Work Environment and Travel**
This role requires regular travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend industry events. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate client schedules. (_**only as needed)**_
