**Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts.
- Maintain and update accounting records.
- Prepare journal entries for posting to the general ledger.

Education and experience requirements:

- Accounting diploma or relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and Sage Accounting programs and their cloud-based counterparts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Payroll and income tax experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Athabasca, AB T9S 1C5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
